Scaynes Hill is a semi-rural village situated a couple of miles out of Haywards Heath and is popular with young families and boasts an excellent primary school opening onto a wonderful playing field. The Millenium Village hall provides activities including Zumba, drama productions, keep-fit classes, and is hired out for parties and celebrations. Costells Wood is an area of ancient woodland owned by the Woodland Trust and provides fabulous walking opportunities and The Farmers Pub is very popular with locals and the wider community and boasts one of the largest beer gardens in the area. The Sloop pub, is located down a country lane and offers a more rural feel and is very popular with locals and also attracts people from further afield. Although Scaynes Hill can appear to be a simple drive through location, there is a great sense of community within the village.
